• Use technology to bridge the gap between experimental UX design specs and a usable/testable prototype.

Personal Takeaways: Working in the team has given me the ability to work in a wide range of disciplines. Learning some basic electrical engineering and assembly. 3D rendering and printing. Soldering and circuitry.Utilized background as a software developer to help guide the team in tools to use for controlling physical and on screen prototypes using Python, Arduino, intel Edison, IBM watson, C# and Unity together, and using HTML5/CSS/JS/Polymer to create engaging, high fidelity prototypes for products ranging from web, to native mobile, to TV interface. Exploration of concepts and implementations of machine learning as it pertains to gathering information about a user to enhance future experiences.

Achievements: Created a web application that is capable of changing spoken word to text, processes it through a self made rudimentary Natural Language Processor and takes specific actions based on the user’s spoken input. Conducted extensive, high volume user tests at the NBC Media Labs in universal Orlando using this web application to validate or invalidate assumptions made by the design team associated with the product.

• Created and launched a Philadelphia University mobile application through the Android market and iTunes for use on all android and iOS devices

Achievements: Successful integration of a university-wide content management system to allow the decentralization of web content editing. This results in the ability of the entire university-wide network of contributors to control their own spaces on the PhilaU website.
